  • The Czech Society of Gastroenterology of the Czech Medical Association J.E.Purkyně (hereinafter referred to as CSG) is a professional society Czech Medical Society of J.E. Purkyne (hereinafter referred to as CMS JEP).
  • It is a voluntary, independent association of physicians and other professionals working in the field of gastroenterology, as well as legal entities in the Czech Republic.
  • The main mission of the CSG is to create professional and organizational conditions to mitigate the impact of gastroenterological diseases on the population of the Czech Republic.
  • The activities of the CSG also include representing and defending the interests of gastroenterologists as a professional group, as well as organizing professional education and supporting gastroenterological research.
  • The CSG governs the internal organizational and professional activities of the Articles of Association and the Rules of Procedure of CMS JEP.
  • CSG is a member of international professional societies.
  • The society is open to cooperation with other similar professional organizations.
