The Czech Society of Gastroenterology of the Czech Medical Association J.E.Purkyně (hereinafter referred to as CSG) is a professional society Czech Medical Society of J.E. Purkyne (hereinafter referred to as CMS JEP).
It is a voluntary, independent association of physicians and other professionals working in the field of gastroenterology, as well as legal entities in the Czech Republic.
The main mission of the CSG is to create professional and organizational conditions to mitigate the impact of gastroenterological diseases on the population of the Czech Republic.
The activities of the CSG also include representing and defending the interests of gastroenterologists as a professional group, as well as organizing professional education and supporting gastroenterological research.
The CSG governs the internal organizational and professional activities of the Articles of Association and the Rules of Procedure of CMS JEP.
CSG is a member of international professional societies.
The society is open to cooperation with other similar professional organizations.
The CSG secretary performs duties in relation to these companies (eg reports on negotiations with these organizations etc.).
Various professional sections (PS) and working groups (WG) work within the CSG.
